Do we have to get out of the car at the border?

The new Huanggang Port opened on 2026-10-12 06:30 and provides 24-hour passenger and passenger-vehicle clearance. Boarding, alighting and luggage procedures depend on direction, vehicle category, travel documents and the official arrangements in force. Our team confirms the applicable procedure; follow on-site instructions at every port.

How many people fit in a 7-seater?

Up to 6 passengers, excluding the driver. How much luggage fits depends on the passenger count, the size of the cases and the vehicle assigned that day, so we do not publish a fixed number. Tell us the passenger count and how many large and small bags you have, and we confirm it fits before quoting. Seven passengers cannot travel in a 7-seater — please contact us for a larger vehicle.

When do surcharges apply?

Weekend, late-night, urgent-booking, extra-stop and overtime-waiting conditions and amounts require confirmation by our team. Any applicable public-holiday or Hong Kong area charges are included only in the confirmed quote. Unconfirmed charges are quoted manually.

What if my flight is delayed?

Pick-ups at Hong Kong International Airport, Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, Zhuhai Airport and Macau International Airport include 60 minutes of free waiting; other airports include 30 minutes. Hotel, residential and other ordinary pick-ups include 30 minutes of free waiting. Free waiting at the border is 30 or 60 minutes depending on travel documents. Ask our team to confirm the applicable document category, when the clock starts and any overtime charges.

How do I pay?

Pay the full fare for this journey at the destination, before getting out of the vehicle. Use the payment method confirmed by our team. A formal invoice costs an additional CNY 50. An ordinary receipt is free and can be photographed for your records.

Can one vehicle take us all the way to Macau?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our standard Macau transfer is a private, single-vehicle direct service. We confirm the vehicle, border arrangements and full fare before booking. If a transfer involving a vehicle change is needed, we will explain it and ask for your approval in advance.

Trips less than 2 hours before pick-up need a dispatch check first. We cannot guarantee a vehicle.

How long does an airport transfer take, and when should we leave?

For your exact pickup, destination and planned departure time, check Amap’s driving estimate and add 30 minutes as a buffer for border clearance and traffic. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed arrival time. For airport drop-offs, also allow the airline’s required advance arrival time.

For airport drop-offs, our usual pickup/departure guideline is 3 hours before the flight’s departure time for Shenzhen Bao’an Airport and 4 hours before it for Hong Kong Airport. These are pickup-time guidelines, not driving durations. For distant pickup locations, heavy traffic or unusual border conditions, check Amap, add the 30-minute journey buffer and arrange an earlier pickup as needed, allowing the airline’s required advance arrival time.

Can I travel alone with three suitcases from Shenzhen to Hong Kong Airport?

Yes. Solo travelers can request a private cross-border transfer. Tell us the number and approximate size of your suitcases before booking; luggage capacity depends on the assigned vehicle and must be confirmed. You may need to leave the vehicle and carry your luggage during border checks. Follow the driver’s and immigration officers’ instructions.

What items are prohibited or must be declared at the border?

Before crossing, please check personal bags and everything in the vehicle. E-cigarettes/vapes (including devices, pods and liquids) are prohibited on entry to both Hong Kong and Macau; Hong Kong also prohibits importing heated tobacco and other alternative smoking products. Ordinary cigarettes and alcohol have limits, not a blanket ban: Hong Kong's duty-free allowance for travellers aged 18+ is 19 cigarettes and 1 litre of liquor over 30% ABV; Macau generally allows 19 cigarettes per person per day and 1 litre of liquor over 30% ABV for personal use without declaration. Over-limit amounts may require declaration and duties. Controlled medicines, CBD/cannabis products, weapons, pepper spray, fireworks, food, plants and animal products may be prohibited or require permits. Large cash amounts may require declaration; Hong Kong has infant formula export restrictions. Customs rules differ by jurisdiction. Travelling in one vehicle does not waive customs inspection; check official rules before departure.
